Our objective is to have your child grow into a much more mature person. In addition to just playing games, they will learn new skills and develop new friendships, they will learn to get along with others, learn fairplay, improve their self-esteem, and gain self-confidence in the process.
Location
Camp Redwood is located in the foothills of the Shawangunk Mountains, on a magnificent wooded and cleared 40 acre site, just 60 miles (100 KM) North of New York City (1hr.), in the lower Hudson Valley region of New York State.

Our newly renovated cabins including new tile bathrooms are roomy, well ventilated with windows and screens, electricity, modern plumbing, including hot & cold water and showers. Each child has his or her own cubbies for storage of personal clothing and belongings.

Our wonderful cooking staff prepares 3 hot meals daily. Food is plentiful, well balanced, nutritious and of the best quality. Special meal plans available for individual needs. Home-style cooking is always our goal. Snacks are also served during the day.
Around The Lake

Birds eye view of Redwood's Dock complex giving our campers over 6000 sq. ft. of a sand bottom, dock enclosed, American Red Cross Supervised, swimming area. Also visible is an extensive boating area covering 3000 sq. ft. of sand beach and providing campers with a complete professional program in row boating, canoeing, and sailing. Our boating program is geared to provide our campers with the skills necessary for the safe handling of all small craft.
Our two speed boats handle an elaborate Waterskiing program which also includes Aquaplaning and Knee boarding. This will train your child from beginner level through expert. Off site Waterski trips are also a part of the program.
Infirmary
A completely equipped infirmary with an R.N. and / or E.M.T. on duty 24 hours a day. A Medical Doctor is also on call 24 hours a day. St. Luke's Hospital is located 12-15 minutes from camp.
